The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub.. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
Mission statement:
Contributes to development and execution of pricing strategies to maximize profit and share of market for the relevant Product Group, whilst ensuring Hitachi Energy customer satisfaction. Establish and sustain common organization, processes, and tools for pricing throughout the GPG in alignment with defined BU framework to deliver measurable results.
Your responsibility:

Responsible for the development and implementation of pricing roadmap to enhance and optimize revenue growth and profitability for product group factories.

Drives the development and validation of business end-to-end pricing initiatives, processes, models, methodologies, and tools.

Collaborate with business to understand the tools, process, access to data sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.

Apply statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.

Contribute developing and maintaining reports and dashboards to continuously monitor pricing and other KPIs.

Partnership with sales team and GPMMs to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies

Provide price recommendations and price guideline that align closely with market trends and identify potential market segments / product line.

Develop dynamic pricing tools effectively along with data analytics team responding to changing market needs and trends

Lead pricing-related activities including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications and presentations, in coordination with HUB and BU pricing teams.

Experience in collaborating on pricing strategies with sales and marketing departments.

Advanced ability to present pricing performance results to higher management & global stakeholders.

Your background:

Min 10 years of experience in the Power System Industry.

Experience in pricing management techniques and tools and Strong interpersonal leadership skills.

Know-how of SFDC, SAP and MS Office would be good

Strong commercial/business acumen in global B2B sector (understanding the terminology and practical usage of margins, cost split, transfer price, market price, contribution, percentile values for pricing, price lists, value vs. cost drivers, discount multipliers etc.)

Ability to work cross-functionally throughout an international organization, interfacing with business partners and support groups across the organization, with excellent communication skills.

Extensive experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.

Experience in collaborating on business strategies with sales and marketing departments.

Ability to keep track of industry trends and develop dynamic pricing.

Advanced ability to present about updates and challenges to relevant stakeholders.

Flexibility on working with teams from different regions and time zones (USA to Australia).

Strong experience in sales or pricing of industrial products preferably electrical power system products.( Instrument transformer, Surge arrester, Capacitor or Disconnectors)
