Global PR Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Global PR Manager to join our global Corporate Communications team in our Nootdorp office.

As an experienced PR Manager you develop a strategy to best present the Fugro story in key (social) media and in main markets across the globe. You support the Director Brand & Communications with his role as Fugro spokesperson, acting as back-up where required. You also work closely with the Director Brand & Communications in his role as advisor to the CEO and on developing Fugro's external communication. In addition, you work closely with the Director Investor Relations and the global and regional marketing teams to align external communication.

Your role

• You develop a corporate PR and reputation management strategy and executive leadership positioning plan, whilst maintaining a keen understanding of macro and industry trends affecting Fugro stakeholders and making appropriate recommendations regarding corporate reputation strategy;

• You manage media inquiries and interview requests, leverage existing media relationships, and cultivate new contacts within public, business/financial and industry media;

• You manage the coordination of news and press releases ensuring approvals are in place and articles are issued on time;

• You are responsible for the creation of a pipeline of content and ensure all items published are in line with the Fugro brand and tone of voice;

• You provide support in the organisation of corporate events and creation of presentations as required.

Your track record

• You have a BSc degree in Journalism, Corporate Communications or similar and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a related field;

• You are experienced in writing & editing press releases and social media copy, in media relations management and in PR/communications campaign planning and coordination. Experience as a spokesperson is a requisite;

• You are keen to work with social media and develop creative campaigns;

• You have a track record in issue management and C-suite stakeholder management;

• Perfect command of Dutch and English are mandatory;

• You feel at ease in an international corporate environment and when working with senior leadership.
