As a Global PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Expert especially for Fabrication and Production, you will be part of an existent Global team responsible for the Standards, Machinery & Technology to globally Support Aptiv factories. Your main responsibility will be related to PCB Technology and Types, Design Rules, Fabrication Details, Quality, Audit Suppliers, etc. Your expertise it is crucial for the control and continuous improvement of the PCB Process used to assemble and/or test our active safety products that will make our cars safer and keep savings lives.
Your Role
Develop and release Global Design Standards for assigned technologies
Develop and publish Process Documentation for assigned technologies
Develop/Support1 Process Verification for assigned technologies
Develop and publish training material for assigned technologies
Provide technical support across Aptiv enterprise for assigned technologies
Develop Strategy to advance assigned technologies
Conduct and support Line Side Review process audits in global production locations
Utilize project management skills to develop and implement robust process solutions
Maintain and advance software solutions and automation for technology specific tasks (P-FMEA, Maintenance, Simulation, etc.) as a key user
Optimize process design to support equipment utilization and material flow
Understand and apply within Aptiv the IPC Requirements and Standards
Your Background
Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Chemical or Similar
Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive industry, preferred in manufacturing engineering
Knowledge of LEAN OPEX with applicability in Manufacturing Engineering environment
6-Sigma certified, minimum Black-Belt and preferred Shainin Journeyman
Understanding of electronics materials and metallurgy and PCB fabrication
Ability to work and live a global network environment with ability to travel 50% of the time
· Excellent project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Outstanding verbal, written communication in English
