About the Role
As a Global Payroll Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing ESAB’s payroll operations across multiple countries and regions on a global scale. Your primary focus will be on executing the global payroll strategy, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and driving process improvements. You will lead a team of payroll professionals, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and provide strategic direction to optimize global payroll operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of global payroll practices, and the ability to navigate complex payroll landscapes.
This position will work primarily with the other members of the Global Payroll Operations team and in close collaboration with HR Operations, and the HRIS team. The role will also require a strong working relationship with local controllers and other Finance resources who support the end-to-end payroll process. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and supporting the development and rollout of ESAB’s ongoing HR & Payroll Operational transformation.
