Job Description
As a Global Mobility Associate, you will work as part of a collaborative and international team supporting globally mobile employees and multinational clients across a range of cross-border tax, payroll, immigration, and mobility matters. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to international business operations while developing practical skills in a fast-paced global environment.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Support tax return preparation and compliance processes for international assignees and globally mobile employees.
- Assist in coordinating cross-border tax and payroll matters across multiple countries.
- Conduct research on international tax, mobility, and cross-border employment topics.
- Communicate and collaborate with global teams, clients, and internal stakeholders in both Japanese and English.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support compliance and operational processes.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate student, recent graduate, or early-career professional from any academic background.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with numbers and data.
- Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Interest in working in an international and multicultural environment.
