Role Overview:
The Global Mobility Analyst manages IPT/VIT cases and provides support to Advisors on long term assignment and short-term assignment. The role focuses on end-to-end case management, stakeholder advisory, compliance coordination, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor towards stakeholders to discuss cases, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Make recommendations to the Regional Lead based on feedback received.
- Participate in Squad Calls to connect with other People Services teams and share best practices, information, and new processes.
- Liaise with the Immigration team, IPT/Expat team, Work and Life, Talent Acquisition, People Experience, and My Rewards to ensure all necessary processes/actions are completed to execute a move.
Case Management / Assignment Setup
Provide end-to-end case management support, including:
- Set-up records in the assignment system and generate initial Cost Estimates for review.
- Prepare Transfer Approval Form and send for completion and approval via relevant system.
- Review initial compliance needs (Immigration and Tax) and consult with the team accordingly.
- Prepare relevant documentation (Permanent transfer and international assignments), including compensation proposals, and after peer review, request local contract creation from TA or W&L.
- Schedule briefing call with employee/candidate upon receipt of PL's confirmation that the offer package has been issued.
- Support the GM Advisor during the whole assignment lifecycle.
SME Accountability
- Be fully accountable for the assigned area as part of the SME approach.
Escalation Management
- Discuss with the Regional Lead any escalations received, including those linked with vendor performance issues.
- Assess root cause of escalation and propose improvements/solutions.
Payroll
- Maintain the system updated to ensure data integrity
GM Processes
- Constantly review processes and propose solutions to the Regional Lead as well as the GM Governance and Capability lead for the necessary actions
