Job Summary/Purpose:

As the Global Marketing Automation Manager at Sandoz, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of marketing automation strategies and systems to enhance our digital marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for orchestrating personalized and data-driven marketing efforts to engage healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders on a global scale.

This a unique opportunity to join Sandoz Global Digital Hub and become responsible for delivering exceptional experience at each stage of digital marketing and sales customer journey.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Automation Strategy:

    • Develop and execute a global marketing automation strategy aligned with the company's marketing objectives, ensuring efficient lead generation, nurturing, and conversion processes

  • Campaign Development and deployment

    • Collaborate with a Team of Global Digital Marketing Managers to design and execute automated customer journeys, ensuring relevance and effectiveness

    • Identify all touchpoints on identification and implementation new customer journey and provide clear interaction plans for multiple markets

  • Automation Platform Management

    • Oversee the implementation, and management of marketing automation platforms such as Scout (SFDC), Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Email Studio) and Pitcher to operationalize customer journeys and streamline marketing operations

    • Work with MCM channel operations team to ensure effective and efficient use of global digital platforms including latest best practices, updates or releases including new functionalities and channels

  • Performance Analytics

    • Monitor and analyze marketing automation performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to enhance campaign effectiveness

  • Compliance and Data Privacy:

    • Ensure marketing automation activities adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations, including data privacy (e.g., GDPR), and work closely with legal and regulatory teams.

  • Training and Support:

    • Provide training and support to marketing teams and stakeholders in using marketing automation tools effectively.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Economics/IT. An advanced degree and related accreditations is a plus

  • Fluent English (oral and written) is required

  • Proven 3-5 years of experience in Marketing Automation management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Proficiency of Salesforce/SFMC/CRM and marketing automation tools

  • Strong digital background and successful track of digital initiatives with demonstrated business impact measured by organizational metrics.

  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering personalized and data-driven marketing experiences.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Project management experience is a plus

  • Additional languages are an advantage
