Global Key Account Director
About the role
We’re looking for an outstanding Global Key Account Director to lead and grow one of our most strategic large FMCG global partnerships.
This is a high-profile, high-impact leadership role with full accountability for the end-to-end commercial, operational and contractual performance of a complex global account. You’ll operate at the centre of a multi-market partnership, driving delivery across key pillars including Shopper Conversion, Sustainability and Productivity, while shaping a clear long-term growth agenda.
You’ll combine strategic thinking with disciplined execution—bringing strong business insight to identify opportunities, and ensuring global teams are aligned behind a clear, actionable plan. At the same time, you’ll build deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, consistently delivering a customer-focused approach that strengthens the partnership and creates long-term value.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working at pace, navigating complexity, and turning strategy into meaningful, measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Own full accountability for global account performance, ensuring delivery against commercial, operational and contractual commitments
Define and execute a clear account strategy, aligning cross-functional and international teams to deliver against shared priorities
Build and maintain strong, senior-level relationships with our partners stakeholders, positioning the business as a trusted, value-adding partner
Use data, market understanding and commercial judgement to identify growth opportunities, innovation pipelines and efficiency gains
Lead global teams across multiple disciplines to deliver consistent, high-quality execution across markets
Build organisational capability and develop strong succession pipelines
Drive P&L performance, including forecasting, margin optimisation, and financial planning
Translate customer needs into scalable, commercially viable solutions, ensuring long-term partnership success
Lead performance reviews, governance, and continuous improvement activity to drive sustained results
Foster a high-performance culture, with clear accountability, strong collaboration and a focus on outcomes
About you
You’re a commercially driven, strategic leader with a track record of delivering results in complex, international environments.
Significant experience in senior key account or commercial leadership roles within matrix organisations
Proven ability to manage and grow large, strategic customer relationships on a global scale
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience owning P&L and delivering against ambitious growth targets
Brings strong business insight, using data, market understanding and customer knowledge to shape decisions and unlock value
Demonstrates the ability to align teams and priorities across geographies, ensuring focus, clarity and delivery
Builds credibility quickly and develops deep, trust-based relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing complexity and leading through change
A collaborative and inclusive leader who develops high-performing teams and drives engagement
Knowledge of Design and Shopper Strategy would be desirable
