Job Description
As Global Industry Technical Consultant (GITC) you will provide expert technical consultancy to accelerate revenue growth and drive adoption of Rockwell Automation technology across the EMEA region.
You will work with Strategic, Industry, and Geographic Sales teams, you will shape customer outcomes by defining architectures, demonstrating solutions, and building trusted relationships.
Primary focus industries: CPG and Life Sciences.
You will report to Engagement Manager EMEA.
Responsibilities - you will do:- Support revenue growth by delivering targeted pre‑sales technical activities across EMEA.
- Promote RA technology adoption through technical and professional relationships with customers.
- Develop conceptual architectures, proofs of concept, demonstrations, and design studies that create clear technical advantage.
- Define and achieve challenging technical and business targets.
- Ensure exchange of business-critical information.
- Maintain up‑to‑date technical and commercial knowledge.
- Operate in a pan‑EMEA scope with a preferred base in Central Europe.
- Travel 40–60% of the time for customer engagements, pre‑sales activity, and onsite presentations.
- Minimum 5 years of control systems and industrial automation experience.
- Experience with automation, process control, and DCS systems (migration experience is an advantage).
- Demonstrated solution experience in the CPG and Life Sciences industry with familiarity in relevant standards (e.g., S88, FT Batch, S95, MTP, Annex 1, Weihenstephan).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Fluency in English and native language; additional languages are an advantage.
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation's technology stack is beneficial.
- Basic project management experience.
- Experience with market trends, challenges, and drivers in CPG and Life Sciences.
