As a Global Financial Master Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and governance of finance and customer master data that supports key business processes across the organization.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and validate customer, finance, and controlling master data within SAP and related systems
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of master data entities, attributes, and hierarchies across global processes
Participate in global and local projects, including testing activities for finance and master data tools and enhancements
Monitor data quality, perform impact assessments, and escalate process or technical issues affecting master data integrity
Support KPI reporting, operational analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Collaborate with technical and business teams to resolve data-related issues and optimize master data processes
Support compliance, audit, and SOX control activities while promoting a strong governance and control environment
Essential Requirements
1-4+ years of relevant experience in master data management, finance operations, accounting, or related business process environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and process improvement
Understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and audit-related processes in a corporate environment
Fluency in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multinational organization
Prior experience in financial shared service center environments
Desirable Requirements
Experience supporting SOX compliance, governance, or master data control frameworks within a multinational organization
Experience with data analytics, reporting tools, User Acceptance Testing, or finance transformation initiatives
Preferred Working knowledge of SAP ECC, S4 and MDG and finance-related master data, including customer, finance, or controlling data structures
