Join a Delta One Equity Finance trading desk to execute and hedge client trades, manage inventory, identify trading opportunities, build analytical and automation tools, handle daily controls (P&L, inventory, corporate actions), and generate hedging optimization ideas using quantitative analysis while working closely with sales and clients.

As an Analyst or Associate in the Equity Derivatives Group - Delta One Trading Funding Solutions team, you will build your Delta One and Equity Finance trading expertise while gaining significant exposure to clients from day one. You will manage daily client operations and production controls, apply your mathematical skills to price complex derivative products, and develop your understanding of financial markets mechanics to generate trade ideas and optimize hedging strategies. You will work closely with sales, clients, and other teams to deliver first-class service and innovative solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Execute and hedge secondary events linked to client trades through daily interactions with sales and clients.
  • Actively manage the desk’s inventory.
  • Optimize client trades and identify trading opportunities in inter-dealer broker markets.
  • Develop workflow and analytical tactical tools to support decision-making, automate processes, and reduce operational risks.
  • Process key controls linked to daily operations, including profit and loss estimates, equities inventory, and corporate actions follow-up.
  • Develop your knowledge of equity financing markets and generate hedging optimization ideas based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced Python coding skills, with eagerness to apply them to data analysis and process automation.
  • Strong mathematical and/or economics background, with understanding of equity derivative products pricing principles.
  • Prior experience in Delta One or Equity Finance trading.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform with autonomy, reliability, and humility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Eagerness to face clients and provide first-class service.
  • Curiosity and passion for international finance, macroeconomics, and financial regulation.

  • Experience developing workflow or analytical tools for trading desks.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
