THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Global Director of Transfer Pricing to our Tax & Treasury team!

Reporting to the SVP of Tax & Treasury, the Global Director of Transfer Pricing will lead the company’s worldwide transfer pricing strategy, governance, compliance, and controversy agenda. This executive will serve as the principal advisor to senior tax, finance, treasury, legal, and business leaders on the design and operation of arm’s-length policies for intercompany transactions. The role will align transfer pricing outcomes with the company’s operating model and value chain; oversee documentation and reporting; strengthen audit readiness and dispute resolution; and translate regulatory developments into practical, scalable business solutions. The Director will coordinate regional and country teams, manage external advisors, and build data-enabled processes and controls that support consistent execution across the enterprise.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Own and continuously improve the global transfer pricing framework for services, intellectual property, cost-sharing or contribution arrangements, business restructurings, and intercompany financing.
  • Partner with business, finance, supply chain, R&D, legal, controllership, and treasury leaders to ensure policies reflect functions, assets, risks, economic substance, and the evolving global operating model.
  • Lead economic and financial analyses, including functional analyses, benchmarking studies, valuation of intangibles, profit-split assessments, and support for financial transactions.
  • Direct the global documentation and reporting program, including the Master File, Local Files, country-by-country reporting, local forms, and contemporaneous support, with clear ownership, calendars, quality standards, and escalation protocols.
  • Establish operational transfer pricing processes for forecasts, target margins, quarterly monitoring, true-ups, journal entries, management reporting, and reconciliation to tax returns and statutory accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a global control framework, including policy governance, intercompany agreements, data lineage, documentation retention, risk assessment, and data-driven key performance indicators.
  • Lead transfer pricing controversy and audit defense worldwide; coordinate responses to tax authorities and manage advance pricing agreements, mutual agreement procedures, competent-authority matters, and settlement strategy where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director of International Tax Planning on mergers, acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, legal-entity changes, value-chain transformations, and new business models, including implementation requirements and post-transaction monitoring.
  • Monitor OECD, U.S., and local-country developments and assess their impact on transfer pricing, tax accounting, and related global tax initiatives, incorporating AI-driven monitoring and data-driven scenario modeling for Pillar Two and country-by-country analytics.
  • Partner with Treasury to establish and support arm’s-length pricing for intercompany loans, guarantees, cash pools, and other financial transactions.
  • Support tax accounting by assessing transfer pricing exposures, documenting uncertain tax positions, and providing clear inputs for reserves, disclosures, and management reporting.
  • Build trusted relationships with regional finance and tax teams; deliver practical training to stakeholders; and communicate complex issues clearly to executive leadership.
  • Drive innovation in financial modeling and transfer pricing risk management by leveraging AI, automation, and advanced analytics to ensure forecasts, target margins, and compliance processes are accurate, predictive, and scalable globally.
  • Live the mission: inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your colleagues. Bring wellbeing to the forefront of work, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable taking care of themselves, taking time off, and finding work-life wellness.

WHO YOU ARE

  • An experienced tax leader with an advanced degree in economics, accounting, finance, tax, or a related discipline (JD, LLM, CPA, or equivalent professional credential preferred).
  • A seasoned professional with at least 12+ years of progressively responsible transfer pricing experience, including significant leadership in a complex multinational enterprise, major advisory firm, or a combination of both.
  • Expert in transfer pricing with deep command of OECD principles and U.S. and local-country rules, including documentation, economic analysis, IP, services, financial transactions, restructurings, and dispute resolution.
  • A strategic problem solver with demonstrated success designing and operationalizing global policies across multiple jurisdictions, legal entities, business models, and enterprise systems.
  • A battle-tested advocate with proven experience leading audits and controversy matters and working effectively with tax authorities, competent authorities, external counsel, and economic advisors.
  • A strong communicator with excellent executive presence, able to convert complex technical analysis into clear decisions, business implications, and actionable recommendations.
  • A highly effective matrix leader with strong stakeholder management, change leadership, program management, and team-development capabilities across cultures and time zones.
  • A hands-on, daily user of AI tools such as Gemini, Claude or ChatGPT, with concrete examples of work you have automated or redesigned with them.
  • Experience building your own AI workflows or agents, for example, with Claude Code or Codex, to automate recurring work such as monitoring tax law changes across countries, or intercompany calculations or documentation is a strong plus.
