About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer facing, Global Demo Manager to lead the demonstration of our state of the art packaging machines for prospective and existing customers. This individual will ensure our demo machines are fully operational, coordinate team resources for live demonstrations, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers. The Global Demo Manager will build and maintain cross-functional support networks, ensuring every demonstration is seamless and impactful. The Global Demo Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that demos in all Packsize offices are carried out with high standards.
What You’ll Do
• Manage all aspects of packaging machine demonstrations for global customers, both on-site and virtually.
• Ensure demo machines are maintained, fully operational, and ready for customer demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Sales to align demonstration objectives and strategies.
• Coordinate and schedule the appropriate technical and support team members for each demo.
• Build and leverage cross-functional networks (engineering, sales, customer support, etc.) to facilitate successful demos.
• Prepare and review all demo details, ensuring a thorough understanding of customer requirements and objectives.
• Build customer trust by showcasing deep product knowledge and professionalism during demos.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, to customer sites or Packsize global demo centers.
• Collect feedback from demos and collaborate with Sales and Product teams for continuous improvement.
• Maintain detailed records of demo activities, customer feedback, and machine performance.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical, manufacturing, or packaging-related role.
• Prior leadership experience is required.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build support networks.
• Background in sales or sales engineering a plus.
• Strong understanding of both mechanical and software components (experience with packaging machines or automation technology preferred).
• Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots), or other warehouse automation technologies a strong plus.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly build trust with customers and internal teams.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $104,592-128,100; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
