OUR ROLE – GLOBAL DEMAND PLANNER – ROYAL COPENHAGEN
We’re looking for a Global Demand Planner to lead the forecasting process across one of our core business units. In this role, you’ll manage demand forecasts from short to long term, improve forecast accuracy and value, and ensure alignment between commercial plans and supply chain operations. This role is key in shaping how we plan for the future—so we can serve our customers with precision, efficiency, and consistency.
Reporting to our global supply chain team, this hybrid role can be based at our offices in either Frederiksberg, Denmark or Barlaston, United Kingdom.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll be the forecasting expert who helps turn insight into action and plans into performance.
Lead the development of demand forecasts at the SKU level—short-term (0–3 months) and long-term (3–18 months)
Work closely with sales, marketing, retail, and customer service teams to factor in promotions, new product launches, and market trends
Measure and continuously improve forecast accuracy, bias, and forecast value add (FVA)
Play a key role in our global planning transformation—standardizing processes and driving best practices across the business
Use scenario planning and risk analysis to help the business prepare for what’s ahead
Collaborate with supply planning and inventory teams to align demand with supply
Leverage tools and automation to streamline planning processes and reduce manual work
Monitor and report on key KPIs, helping stakeholders understand risks, gaps, and opportunities
WHO YOU ARE
You love turning data into direction—and strategy into something everyone can act on.
Education and expertise: You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, business, statistics, or a related field, and 3–5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting
Forecasting pro: You’re skilled in demand planning tools like SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or Oracle—and love using data platforms like Excel, SQL, or Python to make smarter decisions
Analytical thinker: You’re confident building statistical models and making sense of complex trends
Collaborative communicator: You work well across teams and functions, keeping everyone aligned and informed
Certified: APICS certifications (like CPIM or CSCP) are a strong plus
