Job Summary

Coordinates procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of components. Manages inventory levels to optimize stock availability and reduce costs. Collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to resolve supply chain issues.


Key Areas of Responsibility
Drive the forecasting and S&OP process for components with the relevant component suppliers, securing maximum material availability at lowest exposure, costs and risk, ensuring supplier's capacity and flexibility in-line with Signify component forecast.
Drive the Supply Chain and Procurement strategy on components within the relevant commodity which consists of representatives from supply chain, procurement, and component engineering.
Drive structural improvements in component Supply Management.
Define and drive the right component Supply Chain KPI's and performance targets.
Create and manage Logistics Agreements and other contracts with relevant component suppliers.
Support supplier selection, auditing and development from a Supply Chain perspective.
Guide and resolve shortages by the global escalation process (FAP).
Own & drive the scarcity allocation process
Drive push-out and cancellation with relevant component suppliers to improve the global excess stock.
Drive internal stock sharing process for relevant commodity.
Manage and drive Lead Time with relevant component suppliers and ensure implementation within factories.
Support component PIPO process.
Drive supply chain function in crash team activities related to components.
Ensure component availability during key festive periods (Chinese New Year, Christmas, etc.).


Critical Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential to understand procurement and supply chain principles.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles focusing on component planning, supplier management, and demand forecasting within a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management such as APICS CPIM or CSCP is critical to demonstrate proficiency in supply chain processes and best practices.

Skills Required
