Payroll and Benefits Specialist, Europe
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist, Europe will lead in the administration and management of our compensation and benefits programs in Poland and the UK, and support the rest of our regions. This role requires a high level of precision and ability to learn and understand both local and international compensation and benefits standards to ensure competitive and equitable offerings that align with CreatorIQ’s strategic goals.
What you’ll do:
Payroll and Benefits Administration: (60%)
Administer accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in the UK and Poland.
Ensure up-to-date payroll records, including salary adjustments, bonuses, new hires, terminations, and statutory leaves, are properly maintained and reconciled.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams, as well as external payroll providers/processors, to coordinate data collection, validate inputs, and support accurate monthly and year-end payroll activities.
Manage statutory filings and payments, in conjunction with payroll and tax providers, including HMRC submissions in the UK and ZUS/PIT obligations in Poland, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance.
Address employee payroll-related queries, providing clear, professional, and timely resolutions regarding payslips, tax deductions, and statutory contributions.
Oversee employee benefits programs, including private health insurance, pension schemes, life insurance, and other region-specific benefits, ensuring accurate enrollment and administration.
Act as the main point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, supporting employees with claims, eligibility, and policy details while fostering a positive employee experience.
Liaise with benefits vendors and brokers, managing renewals, support contract negotiations, and service issues to optimize plan offerings and costs.
Support benefits compliance efforts, ensuring programs meet local regulatory requirements (such as auto-enrollment pensions in the UK and healthcare benefits standards in Poland).
Prepare and maintain benefits-related documentation and reports, providing data insights to HR and leadership, and supporting internal audits and annual reviews.
Employee Communication, Education, and Culture: (20%)
Support Global Employee Engagement by researching, planning, and implementing company culture activities. This includes companywide, local team, and department specific events.
Create and deliver engaging internal communications, such as slack posts, email updates, and presentations, to promote awareness of culture initiatives and keep employees informed and connected.
Interpret feedback from employees surveys and informal channels, using insights to continuously improve engagement strategies and tailor activities to diverse, global teams.
Partner with leadership and department heads to align cultural initiatives with business goals and values, fostering an inclusive and motivating work environment.
Assist in the Development, Implementation, and Maintenance of Compensation Programs and cycles: (20%)
Support the design and implementation of competitive salary structures, ensuring alignment with market trends, internal equity, and regional requirements.
Maintain accurate job classifications and salary bands, and analyze roles to ensure appropriate positioning within global and local frameworks.
Conduct compensation benchmarking and market analyses, contributing insights to inform strategic pay decisions and innovative solutions to compensation challenges.
Align performance management systems with compensation frameworks, fostering a fair, transparent, and motivating reward culture.
Assist in planning and executing the annual merit review cycle, including data preparation, analysis, and communication support to ensure a smooth and equitable process.
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with Payroll (specifically Poland; UK is optional)
Strong understanding of Polish compensation and benefits practices and legal compliance.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficient in HRIS systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluent in English and Polish
