As a member of Nielsen’s Marketing Mix practice, you will work with leading advertisers, media agencies and media owners to help assess the effectiveness of their marketing in driving sales and in optimizing their marketing budget for the future. You will become an expert in our industry-leading Marketing Mix solution.
The Marketing Mix Global Client Consultant will become an expert in all the marketing mix delivery process end to end: collecting, organizing and reviewing big sets of data for further analyses, interacting with different teams during statistical modeling and translating model results into stories and actionable insights for clients. The ideal candidate should have great attention to detail, be accountable for own tasks, a team worker and have an opinion.
Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to drive client retention and renewal, by demonstrating tangible value through outcomes.
- Deliver proactive insights and action oriented solutions to clients.
- Diagnose drivers of a business, translating those drivers to insight and implementing them into a marketing mix evaluation.
- Transform MMM results into tangible and actionable insights and recommendations.
- Be aware of best practices in storytelling, client communication, and consultative expertise.
- Manage scope, expectations and timelines of complex, high stakes deliveries.
- Partner with your clients to provide the best marketing plan based on the results of analysis and optimizations.
- Proactively providing subject matter expertise to both clients and colleagues.
- Contribute to internal Consulting team initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of marketing consulting and/or analytics experience, ideally including CPG or Retail
- Consultative story-telling ability to turn data into insight and package for a C-suite audience to maximize impact
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling several projects at a time while meeting deadlines
- Experience in managing scope, expectations and timelines of complex, high stakes projects
- Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred
