Job Description
Ubisoft is seeking a motivated, dedicated, and ambitious Global Brand Partnerships Manager. This role will be based in São Paulo and will have a broad, global scope, collaborating with team members across various locations.
As the Global Brand Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and deploying partnerships with major brands across a variety of sectors, including FMCG, QSR, apparel and fashion, luxury, food and beverage, automotive, etc. This role will encompass Ubisoft's entire portfolio of brands, including Assassin's Creed, Rainbow Six, Far Cry, Just Dance, and many others.
Your field of action is varied:
• In-game brand integration, including product placement, in-game challenges, and esports initiatives.
• Promotional operations, executing comprehensive 360° activations such as on-pack promotions, branded content, digital campaigns, PR, and events.
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to make a significant impact in this dynamic and challenging role.
1. You will be responsible for the development of the business through the search for new partners with focus on GLOBAL and LATAM deals:
• Develop a client prospecting plan to identify target brands for each game to maximize revenue and increase brand awareness.
• Create tailored commercial and financial proposals for prospects in close collaboration with Ubisoft’s development studios and marketing teams.
• Propose impactful and innovative collaborations.
• Negotiate favorable financial and legal terms with brands.
• Report on results and planning.
• Present key results and plans to top management periodically to achieve revenue goals.
• Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, development, and community management, to align partnership strategies with business objectives.
• Have experience in negotiating and managing close six-figure deals, demonstrating a solid understanding of the complexities involved in high-stakes partnerships.
Qualifications• Over 5 years of experience in a commercial/business development role within an entertainment company or agency.
• Available to be in the office 5 days per week (Vila Olímpia – São Paulo/SP).
• Fluent in English.
• Experienced in international negotiations.
• Passionate about video games with excellent knowledge of the gaming industry.
• Revenue-driven and oriented toward business development.
• Great team player, polite, empathetic, and easy-going.
• Strong commercial acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to develop business.
• Creative and with a strong marketing sensibility, capable of developing innovative activation concepts within partnership frameworks.
• Highly organized, business-minded, and self-motivated.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A strong salesperson with solid negotiation skills.
