The Glass Dropper is responsible for installing the glass to the window frame. This role does have lifting and works under a fast-paced environment. The Glass Dropper conducts accurate field measuring according to specified dimensions and patterns.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with Westlake Safety Policies

Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

Maintain a count of the number of pieces of glass placed on the rack

Place the glass in the proper orientation onto racks

Comply with Boral Safety Policies
-
Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility

Setting glass in windows
-
Inspect glass for any defects
-
Inspect all glass and clean thoroughly before installation
-
Communicate with shift supervisors, and other line support regarding glass issues

Turn in completed orders on time
-
Process work orders and procedures
-
Perform other duties and responsibilities requested by the supervisor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma/GED

Spanish is a Plus

Prior experience is a plus
