Tasks and Qualifications:What You'll Do
- Coordinate the shared service center’s GL accounting, assuring the correct reporting and closing activities
- Responsible for VAT and tax reporting
- Update and control the IFRS accounts in the internal leasing package
- Close cooperation with shared service center and purchase team for postings, cost allocations, customer and vendor payments
- Preparation and filing of monthly and annual reporting packages for local and global management
- Prepare and coordinates the internal and external audit, annual account
- Understand and update the accounting flows to close correctly and report in time
- Support controlling team for budget/forecast
What You'll Need
- Minimum a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- You have 5-6 years of experience in accounting with a strong involvement in vat/tax reporting preferably in an international environment
- Strong experience in Belgian VAT reporting
- SAP knowledge
- Experience dealing in month/year end closings
- Proactive, hands-on approach to project management
- A flexible mindset, and a positive attitude, able to evolve in a dynamic corporate environment
- Work accurate, in detail and independent
- Experience implementing processes and control environments
- A team player and analytical problem solver
- Fluency in Dutch and English
