GL Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing and reporting process
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports. Proactively communicate daily status and escalate issues as needed.
• Solve complex problems and proactively determine and implement improvements to workflows and controls. Reduce inefficiencies, minimize risks and manual workflows.
• Handle audit requests
• Cross-trained to serve as backup and resource to other ad hoc tasks and participate in projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy
• CPA is preferred
• At least 5 years accounting experience 
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Must be willing to work night shift schedules (US hours) and during PH Holidays.
• Must be able to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes (temp WFH).
