  • We are looking for a motivated Senior General Ledger & Payroll Accounting Professional who enjoys working with financial data, collaborating with global stakeholders, and contributing to continuous process improvements.

    Your role:

    • Support the transition of payroll-related General Ledger activities from the GL team to the Payroll team, working closely with senior accountants

    • Take ownership of month-end closing activities and assigned accounting processes

    • Perform US GAAP accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and fulfill ad hoc information requests

    • Prepare General Ledger account analyses and balance sheet reconciliations.

    • Diligently Execute and document SOX controls

    • Assist internal and external audit activities while building and maintaining robust process documentation

    Your profile:

    • Degree or ongoing studies in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    • 4-6 years relevant experience

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

    • Solid understanding of General Ledger accounting and financial processes.

    • Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS

    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

    • Basic knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle ERP systems is an advantage

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced Excel 2010 skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP) and consolidated reporting systems
  • Ability to perform monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP
  • Experience maintaining SOX compliance and supporting audits
  • BS or BA degree in relevant field
  • 5-7 years relevant accounting/financial experience
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access
