Role and Responsibilities

As a Gift & Basket Designer, you’ll be responsible for designing and assembling custom food gifts that reflect our brand’s commitment to quality and creativity. In addition to your design responsibilities, you will manage and schedule the gift team, ensuring efficient workflow and timely production. The Gift & Baskets Designer will play a key role in curating product selections, coordinating with operations, and managing inventory to ensure seamless production, fulfillment, and shipping. This role will also involve coordinating with internal teams to ensure that each gift is beautifully presented, cost-effective, and effectively promoted.

  • Design and assemble custom food gifts using our selection of premium products.
  • Curate gift items from our existing retail selection to create cohesive and appealing themes.
  • Conceptualize and source interesting and creative packaging details that enhance the overall gift presentation.
  • Manage and schedule the gift team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of orders.
  • Collaborate with clients and sales teams to meet specific design and product requests.
  • Schedule and oversee the production of gift baskets, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with the operations team to coordinate production, fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Consider the size and weight of gifts and their impact on shipping costs, ensuring that designs are both aesthetically pleasing and cost-efficient.
  • Partner with the marketing team to promote gift baskets in-store and across social media platforms, contributing to marketing campaigns and content creation.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create appealing and functional shipping packages that enhance the customer experience.
  • Create and maintain stock and par levels for our gourmet markets, ensuring adequate inventory.
  • Ensure that all gifts are securely packaged and presented to the highest standards to maintain product quality.
  • Stay informed on current trends in gift design and packaging.
  • Manage multiple projects, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
  • Assist with pricing and product selection to ensure that gifts are both cost-effective and aligned with our brand.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Experience in gift basket design, floral arrangement, or a related creative field.
  • Strong design skills with attention to detail, particularly in the presentation of gourmet food products.
  • 3+ years in a management role.
  • Well versed in Microsoft Suite with strong skills in Excel and Power Point 
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience creating themes. 
  • Food industry experience a plus
  • Ability to work during peak seasons and holidays.
  • Sales experience is a plus.

Skills Required

  • Experience in gift basket design, floral arrangement, or related creative field.
