The Global ID Administration (GIDA) Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate process changes and improvements that increase operating efficiency based on the Lean methodology
- Provide customer service support and work closely with other business groups throughout Citi to provide support
- Advise on moderately complex projects, utilizing pertinent tools and methodologies
- Provide guidance regarding information security concepts/policies, develop and suggest implementation into day-to-day work
- Identify, register and resolve potential compliance issues, including the accurate closure of service requests and inventory tracking
- Understand and apply complex decision-making processes and seek out input from involved stakeholders
- Coach team members, and identify development needs/resources to encourage stretch capabilities
- Advocate for change initiatives, and overcome resistance through an in-depth understanding of complex change theory
- Communicate the need for change, involve stakeholders in the change process and apply change theory to complete successful adoption
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Certifications preferred
- Advanced proficiency with database platforms and operating systems, including Sybase
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software
- Programming language knowledge preferred
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven analytical skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
