General Virtual Assistant (LinkedIn Marketing & Growth
VA)
Role Overview:
Seeking a proactive and creative Virtual Assistant to
support the launch and growth of a business advisory firm focused on helping
business owners prepare their companies for transition, growth, and eventual
sale.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining content
marketing, LinkedIn growth, lead generation, and AI-powered workflows into a
cohesive marketing engine. The successful candidate will work closely with the
founders and become an integrated part of the team, contributing ideas,
improving processes, and helping generate qualified discovery calls (“Clarity
Conversations”) with ideal clients.
The position will initially focus on LinkedIn content
creation, audience targeting, outreach, and marketing support, with future
opportunities to expand into podcast and video content production.
Scope of Work:
LinkedIn Content & Social Media Management
- Create
and manage LinkedIn content for the founders
- Write
engaging LinkedIn posts and long-form articles
- Design
graphics and visual assets for LinkedIn posts
- Schedule
and publish approved LinkedIn content
- Maintain
consistency with brand guidelines and messaging
- Monitor
content performance and recommend improvements
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Use
LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify target audiences
- Research
and build lists of ideal prospects
- Support
outreach and engagement activities on LinkedIn
- Help
drive qualified prospects toward booking “Clarity Conversations”
- Maintain
organized prospect tracking within Google Sheets and Airtable CRM
- Assist
with email drip campaign preparation and management
Content Marketing & AI Support
- Utilize
AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to support:
- Content
ideation
- Draft
writing
- Marketing
research
- Workflow
efficiency
- Suggest
new tools, systems, and automation opportunities
- Assist
with repurposing content into multiple formats
Future Video & Podcast Support (Later Phase)
- Edit
podcast clips, reels, and short-form videos
- Repurpose
long-form content into LinkedIn-ready clips
- Support
YouTube and video content workflows
- Assist
with basic podcast production coordination
Additional Support
- Assist
with white papers and thought leadership content
- Support
ongoing marketing initiatives and operational tasks as needed

Shifts & Hours:
- Part-time
role: Starting with a minimum of 20 hours per week; semi-flexible shift
- Schedule
aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST), Canada
- Or
EST time zone (depending on tasks)
- Preferred
availability during overlapping business hours (approximately 8:00 AM –
5:00 PM PST)
- Flexible
structure may be considered depending on workflow and collaboration needs
