Job Title: General Manager
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Role Overview: The General Manager will be responsible for establishing and running the day-to-day operations of the company's Vilnius office. The role involves representing the CEO locally and working closely with them to ensure the successful application for the Mica license.
- Establish and oversee the operations of the Vilnius office.
- Represent the CEO locally and ensure the alignment of local operations with the company's overall strategy.
- Work closely with the CEO to manage the application process for the Mica licensing regime.
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Manage and mentor local staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee financial performance and ensure the efficient allocation of resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO on the progress and performance of the Vilnius office.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry.
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and licensing processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English and Lithuanian.
