Whether you need a truss system for residential, commercial, or agricultural uses, Stone Truss provides a tough-to-match blend of experience and precision.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of Stone Truss’s manufacturing facility operations, including production, quality control, safety, and employee management. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in manufacturing, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly truss manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and drive financial performance to meet company goals.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Production Planning: Develop and execute production schedules, manage inventory, and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the truss and/or manufacturing in the construction materials industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • In-depth knowledge of truss manufacturing processes, materials, and industry standards. Familiarity with California state regulations and safety standards.
  • Proficient in the use of manufacturing software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and make sound decisions. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
