Role Summary

The GM & SVP of Digital Marketing is a senior leader at eJam, responsible for driving the revenue growth, contribution profit, and overall digital performance for a portfolio of five brands. This role oversees digital marketing strategy, retention channels, and innovation across the brand portfolio, ensuring that each brand achieves its revenue and performance targets. Reporting to executive leadership, this position will manage and align the efforts of Brand Leaders, Brand Marketing Officers, and the Head of Marketplaces.

This leader will drive retention marketing initiatives—including email, SMS, and subscriptions—to maximize customer engagement and lifetime value. Additionally, they will champion innovation by exploring new digital channels and technologies, such as AI, to stay ahead in a competitive landscape. This role requires 15+ years of relevant experience in digital marketing, brand management, and P&L management, along with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize strategically, and adapt quickly within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

What Your Day Will Look Like

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive revenue and profitability across a portfolio of five brands.
  • Drive retention marketing initiatives—including email, SMS, and subscription strategies—to enhance customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Champion innovation in digital channels by exploring new platforms, technologies, and tools, such as AI, to increase competitive advantage and enhance brand reach.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Creative, Analytics, and Operations, to optimize digital marketing efforts and align with broader company goals.
  • Set long-term performance goals and define KPIs, ensuring that each brand meets or exceeds its revenue and contribution profit targets.
  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, drive decision-making, and make strategic adjustments to maximize impact across digital and retention channels.
  • Implement scalable processes to streamline workflows, enhance team efficiency, and support consistent, high-impact campaign execution.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on brand performance, strategic plans, and key insights, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue & Profit Responsibility: Oversee revenue and contribution profit performance for five brands, driving growth across all digital channels and retention marketing.
  • Digital Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute cross-channel digital marketing strategies that leverage media, creative, and analytical insights to optimize brand performance.
  • Retention Marketing Strategy: Lead initiatives in email, SMS, and subscriptions to drive customer retention, engagement, and maximize customer lifetime value.
  • Innovation & New Channel Exploration: Drive a culture of innovation by identifying and integrating emerging digital platforms, tools, and technologies, including AI, to stay ahead in a fast-paced digital environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between digital marketing and other departments, ensuring alignment and synergy across teams.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Brand Leaders, Brand Marketing Officers, and the Head of Marketplaces to support a results-driven culture.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify growth opportunities, and drive improvements across all digital marketing and retention channels.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and refine scalable processes that enhance campaign efficiency, consistency, and overall performance.
  • Strategic Planning & Performance Management: Define long-term goals and KPIs for each brand, regularly assess performance, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve company objectives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years in digital marketing, brand management, and P&L management, with proven expertise in driving revenue growth and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership ability with experience managing senior-level leaders, fostering collaboration, and building a high-performance culture.
  • Digital Marketing & Retention Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing channels, with particular experience in driving retention marketing (email, SMS, and subscriptions) and customer engagement strategies.
  • Innovation & Adaptability: A forward-thinking leader with a passion for testing new digital channels and technologies, comfortable adapting strategies in a fast-moving market environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong data orientation with the ability to interpret metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
  • Process Focus: Proven experience implementing efficient, scalable processes to streamline campaign execution and enhance cross-functional alignment.
  • Collaboration: Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align stakeholders around brand objectives and drive operational priorities.

Compensation & Additional Information

  • Competitive executive-level salary with performance-based incentives

Salary: €70,000 - €140,000 annually + bonus 10% of salary.
