MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE
The General Manager, North America leads the fresh North America business with P&L ownership for fresh’s North America Market. Reporting to the CCO, the General Manager (GM), North America (NA), is responsible for developing Fresh and brand image across North America’s channels of wholesale, brick and mortar, fresh.com and e-retail for the US, Canada and Mexico.
As a strategic member of the global commercial team, the General Manager, NA will lead the North America teams: Sales, Education, Planning, Marketing and Visual Merchandising, to execute global business strategy and tailor accordingly, while advocating for the North America market needs at the Global level. As a commercially driven leader and North America expert, the GM, NA will have the opportunity to nurture relationships with key retailers and leverage consumer and business insights within North America to make strategic business decisions for continued growth.
Job DescriptionJOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute market strategy and implement channel-specific, commercial, sales and business strategies across channels in order to drive profitability and meet key consumer needs
- Manage market P&L to maximize profitability and achieve financial targets
- Manage the regional budget, collaborating with FP&A to optimize resource allocation
- Apply in-depth US market knowledge to inform strategic decisions, challenge assumptions, and identify emerging trends
- Enhance brand visibility through media relations, digital marketing, and strategic influencer partnerships
- Identify and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive regional growth and efficiency
- Lead the development and execution of North America marketing and brand strategies, aligned with global guidelines, to build brand equity and increase market share
- Cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners (e.g., Sephora, Ulta) to expand brand presence and drive sales growth
- Serve as a bridge between global functions and North America to ensure market alignment with global frameworks and guidelines
- Champion people strategies, partnering with the global HRBP to foster a high-performance culture
- Direct business performance analysis to identify opportunities for growth, build on successes, and proactively mitigate risks
- Lead, inspire and develop the North America team, fostering a people-first culture that thrives in a dynamic environment
What you will learn and achieve in the first 6 months:
- Gain a strong understanding of the fresh brand, the team, the fresh North America business and consumer
- Develop relationships with internal fresh Global and North America leadership teams as well as retail partners and leaders
- Identify where to win and how to win; identify areas of opportunities for the fresh North America business, and implement strategies for P&L achievement and continued growth
What you will achieve in 12 months:
- Lead and execute the fresh North America strategy, leading to business growth across sales channels
- Further elevate brand reputation and brand awareness by exceeding the expectations of both leadership and consumers across key retailers, particularly Sephora and Ulta
- Build an action plan for the North America market for team execution
- Lead and develop a high performing, results driven leadership team and North America organization
Physical Requirements:

PROFILE
You have:
- Demonstrated success overseeing Sales, Business Development and/or Marketing in Beauty, Consumer Goods or adjacent industry
You possess:
- Proven experience driving a wholesale and retail business within the North America Market while managing and overseeing an entire P&L
- Extensive knowledge of the North America beauty market and consumer, staying abreast of trends and opportunities across the industry and retailers
- A results driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of accountability and ownership over deliverables and objectives to your overall business
- Ability to project manage and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, quickly-changing environment
- Strong leadership agility and presence in inspiring and motivating teams, while gaining respect from peers and other executives as a commercial business leader
- The ability to think both creatively and analytically yourself, and encourage others to do the same in order to foster a culture of collaboration and driving results through others
- A growth mindset: leading teams to take challenges as opportunities, looking ahead to the bigger picture and continuous improvement

The salary range for this role is $230,000 - $300,000 USD.
