About the job…
In this role, the General Manager Air Heat Exchanger will have the opportunity to drive the full P&L for the air heat exchanger product portfolio, having direct responsibilities of Sales, Quotation, HR, Finance, (potentially Engineering), and functional responsibility for Product Management, Operations and R&D.
This is an onsite position located in Broken Arrow, OK.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish strategic direction, develop tactical plans and drive the entire business and organization with the aim to achieve revenue and profitability objectives.
- Lead the transformation towards new applications in the clean energy landscape and data center business needs to be secured besides further growth in the well-established industries.
- Lead, direct and control the activities of an entity so that it achieves its short and long term financial and operating objectives (e.g. profitability, productivity, market share, etc.) as set by the organizations and Alfa Laval group strategy. The entity is responsible for its own manufacturing, sales, R&D and support functions.
- Develop marketplace opportunities, oversee internal processes, follow-up production and provide employee leadership in the achievement of common goals.
- Ensure a safe and engaged workforce and customer satisfaction, in collaboration with the BU, PG and country leaders.
- Act as a member of the BU WHE Management Team representing the Air Hex agenda as well as driving specific key initiatives to be assigned.
- Oversee the overall business performance of the WHE Air Business (ACE & WSAC, Olmi Air).
- Responsible for the Broken Arrow site, ensuring the good operation in line with BU WHE strategies and requirements and in alignment with US policies.
What you know:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role within the full value chain.
- Strong background in change management, project management, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
