About the job

As a General Ledger Accountant you will have the opportunity to join one of our teams and perform several key tasks:

• Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret relevant financial information.

• Performing audits on financial data to assure its accuracy and truthfulness.

• Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards.

• Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.

• Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.

• Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct.

• Reconciling accounts with the general ledger.

• Gathering supporting documentation and performing record keeping.

• Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

About you

• You are graduated in Accounting, Management, Economics (or in a similar area);

• You have previous experience working with General Ledger processes;

• You have a good sense of relationship and strong interpersonal qualities (to be able to manage relationships with different cultures within units).

• You are able to show us good organizational skills and communication is not a problem for you.

• You have knowledge of English (although you’ll have support for improving language skills).
