As an Analyst of the General Administration (GA) Unit, you will serve as a thought partner and domain expert responsible for supporting expatriate international assignments from on-boarding until repatriation by administering the global mobility policy.This will include consulting strategy, planning, and various administrative tasks. You will work closely as part of a GA Unit that balances employee experience and business needs with global compliance regulations and requirements.GA's mission is to help employees thrive during their international assignment, by smooth on-boarding and off-boarding operation support, refining our core policies, or seeking ways to inject greater satisfaction into the work life balance of our employees.Major Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide tax return related supports of expatriates including navigating assignees to be compliance on time, responding to various inquiries by assignees, coordinating with the designated tax advisor, responding to the notice letters from tax authorities, submitting tax return on behalf of international assignees etc.
- Expat payroll arrangement for the expat’s population including answering inquiries by and settlement of expats expense claims, coordination with various departments as well as Tokyo headquarters.
- Vendor invoice settlement
- Support expatriate from on-boarding, during assignment, and till off- boarding by liaising with various vendors and the Japan Head Office
- Support processing visa at on-boarding and manage immigration document due date throughout their US assignment life cycle.
- Provide relocation supports such as arranging service apartment, and permanent housing support.
- Provide other administrative support such as mail delivery and advising miscellaneous inquiries from expatriates.
- Manage donation payments and event coordination for the Japanese- American communities in New York City
- Liaise with the Head Office to ensure that GA operates with the global compliance regulations and requirements.
The expected base salary is $65,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
