The heart of the role
- Support the day-to-day General Accounting operations for the following process areas: Month-end-close journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Manual General Ledger postings should be performed within the activity split.
- Quality support to Audit and Control.
- Proactively collaborate with other functions/teams to achieve the most efficient problem resolution or implement process controls, and support team members to achieve performance and quality standards.
- Actively participate in process efficiency reviews and implementation of process automation.
- Assist in implementing initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the General Accounting transaction processing.
What makes you beat
- Degree in Economics or Business Administration, preferably with a major in accounting.
- Approximately 1-2 years of experience in the area of accounting.
- Experience in GA, AP, and AR processes in a complex and international business environment is advantageous.
- Experience working with SAP or OpenAccounts is an advantage.
- Experienced knowledge of Finance and Accounting end-to-end processes.
- Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken).
