Responsibilities:

Within the Finance Department, you will work in the accounting team on the following tasks:

  • Supporting the management of daily accounting tasks (recording and paying supplier invoices and various expenses, data entry and bank reconciliation, cash flow monitoring, matching third-party accounts, etc.)
  • Contributing to the monthly and annual financial closing process: posting period-end provisions, preparing and analysing net banking income and the balance sheet, auditing accounts, filing tax returns (VAT, corporate income tax, etc.), and producing regulatory reports.
  • Participating in the preparation of financial statements and annual reports and interacting with the auditors.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of processes, particularly through the automation and simplification of various departmental tasks. Drafting and/or updating supporting documentation.

Skills and Experience

  • Education: Master's degree (BAC+5) from a business school or equivalent university degree with a specialization in Finance/Management Control, and 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Accounting Team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach, autonomy, versatility, methodical approach, rigor, and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Language: English/ Proficiency in Excel
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft would be an asset.
