Who you are:

As a General Accountant I with Frost, you are our quality control. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing routine journal entries to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting throughout the accounting department. Using your observant mindset, you will assist your team with monthly financial statements ensuring they adhere to accounting standards.

What you’ll do: 

• Assist department with the monthly financial statement closing process to ensure adherence to accounting standards
• Produce general ledger reconciliations to verify that account balances are in accordance with department guidelines and internal controls
• Maintain accounting documentation to certify that information aligns with department policies and procedures.
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Requisite requirements to obtain CPA designation
