We are seeking a Digital Payments Product Manager to join the Transaction Banking division, focused on delivering robust digital payments experiences through the web portal for our corporate clients. In this role, you will execute on the digital payments strategy and roadmap to deliver intuitive web payments experiences for our corporate clients globally.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including engineering, design, operations, risk/compliance, and client facing teams to deliver consumer-grade digital solutions to corporate clients. You will be responsible for hands-on execution and stakeholder alignment to deliver delightful client experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Execute against product strategy and roadmap to deliver measurable improvements through the digital payments experience, balancing client outcomes, business needs, risk controls, and technical feasibility.
- Identify and define product requirements for web-initiated payments based on client feedback and user data.
- Document clear user journeys, user stories, and acceptance criteria to direct and inform design and engineering resources.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization of features to ensure timely delivery of enhancements.
- Coordinate with engineering and testing teams to ensure product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure digital solutions are designed to deliver exceptional user experience for corporate clients.
- Work with coverage and support teams to gather insights into client needs and pain points.
- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and data to continuously refine, enhance, and prioritize product features to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks.
- Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including various product teams, legal and compliance, client-facing teams, and technology organizations to keep projects on track.
- Evangelize digital platform capabilities with Coverage and Servicing partners to support adoption and commercialization.
- Present complex ideas and processes thoughtfully in easy to consume presentations to gain stakeholder alignment and drive initiatives forward.
- Translate between business requirements and technology specifications in both directions (top-down and bottom-up) to enable effective delivery.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 5 years of experience in product management shipping products in an agile software development environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial services, including payments, transaction banking, cash management, or treasury products.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technology specifications through creative problem solving to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Deep understanding of UX/UI principles as applied to web and mobile platforms for corporate clients.
- Effective communication skills and ability to align stakeholders across diverse teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous contexts and collaborate with teams across time zones.
- Ability to understand complex data models and perform data analysis to support data-informed decision making.
- Proficiency in using product management tools e.g., Jira, Confluence
