Team Overview
The Private Investors Product Group (PIPG) is part of the Securities Division and focuses on the creation, market making, distribution, and trading of Securitized & OTC Derivatives and Structured Funds. Its main client bases are private banks, retail banks, online brokers, and other distributors that provide structured solutions to high net worth or retail investors.
Your Impact
As a member of the PIPG Strats team, you will be responsible for building the full-stack technology platform that creates an innovative, digital client experience. The platform supports every aspect of the PIPG offering, including client-facing quoting and trade execution, automated document generation, and post-trade client services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full-Stack Platform Development: Build and enhance the technology platform that powers the PIPG digital client experience across quoting, trade execution, documentation, and post-trade services.
2. System Design & Architecture: Apply strong system design skills to create scalable, reliable, and maintainable platform components aligned with business needs.
3. Web Technology Delivery: Develop user-facing and service-layer capabilities using modern web technologies.
4. Continuous Delivery & Deployment: Support continuous delivery and deployment practices to enable rapid, reliable platform releases.
5. Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with local and global team members, translating business requirements into robust technology solutions.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
• Experience programming in Java or Python.
• Good system design skills and understanding of system architecture.
• Familiarity with web technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, ReactJS, Redux, AngularJS, and Node.js.
• Experience with continuous delivery and deployment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with local and global team members.
• Highly motivated, committed, self-starting, and able to multi-task.
Experience:
• Associate Level: 4-5 years of professional experience in system architecture and design. Ability to combine mathematical prototyping with clean, modular, and well-documented code.
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of derivatives products and the derivatives business is good to have.
Skills Required
- Programming experience in Java or Python.
