As a Gas Engineer in Facilities (FAC), you will be responsible for the safe/stable supply of gases in a semiconductor manufacturing facility. Your duties include supporting capacity expansion, responding quickly to equipment or process issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions, managing risks and driving cost improvements, ensuring gas quality control, and introducing state-of-the-art gas delivery systems with a focus on efficiency. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of existing facilities, as well as construction management and supervision during the installation of new equipment. In this role, you will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including fab production equipment teams/procurement/OMT/global teams, to support production lines that operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This position plays a critical role in sustaining stable manufacturing operations. You are expected to work both independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and achieve assigned objectives.
【職務内容】• FACで使用する各種ガス供給設備の運転管理, 性能維持, トラブル対応• ガス供給システムおよび付帯/処理設備に関する改善活動(安全性/信頼性/コスト/環境負荷低減検討)• 新規ガス/新規設備導入時の技術検討と主導, リスク評価, 立ち上げサポート• 設備仕様書, 運転手順書, 点検基準書などの技術文書作成/維持管理• 装置メーカー, 工事会社, 社内関係部門(生産設備/EHS/PSM/購買部門等)との技術的な調整/連携, ガス部門の設備増産/撤去時の対応• 法令/社内規定を遵守した安全管理, 変更管理, 監査対応への参画• トラブルシューティングより発生原因分析とCA/PA策定• Operation, performance maintenance, and troubleshooting of various gas supply facilities used in Facilities (FAC)• Continuous improvement activities for gas supply systems and auxiliary equipment/treatment systems, focusing on safety, reliability, cost optimization, and environmental impact reduction• Technical evaluation, leadership, risk assessment, and startup support for the introduction of new gases and new facilities/equipment• Preparation, maintenance, and management of technical documentation, including equipment specifications, operating procedures, and inspection/maintenance standards• Technical coordination and collaboration with equipment vendors, construction contractors, and internal stakeholders (manufacturing equipment teams, EHS, PSM, Procurement, etc.), as well as support for capacity expansion and decommissioning activities within the chemical facilities area• Safety management, change management, and participation in internal and external audits in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards• Root cause analysis of issues identified through troubleshooting, and development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CA/PA)
