Wargaming is looking for a Game Developer to work on World of Warships in our Belgrade office.
World of Warships is the best naval game around, letting you take command of legendary warships from the period of the 20th century as you battle your way across the open sea with other players.
The project is driven by a team of international developers who combine talent with their passion for video games, resulting in World of Warships being a favorite hobby for millions all around the globe, while keeping its community ever-growing!
What will you do?- Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems and features in collaboration with design, technical, and other teams.
- Refactor and optimize existing gameplay code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and maintain best practices.
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for systems and features.
- Collaborate with QA and other departments to identify, diagnose, and resolve gameplay issues.
- At least 3 years of experience in commercial development.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Basic understanding of OOP.
- Ability to understand other people's code.
- Desire to work in the gaming industry.
- English – B2 and higher.
- Basic knowledge of С/С++.
- Knowledge of Math’s.
- Experience with game engines.
- Hybrid (3 days of work from the office).
- This role is eligible for relocation & immigration support.
