Here at Wargaming Belgrade we are looking for a Frontend Game Developer to strengthen the World of Warships PC.
You will be a part of a team who implements different features for Game User Interface using mostly Frontend stack via Gameface framework (React + TypeScript).
As a member of the World of Warships team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented and passionate group of professionals and make a meaningful impact on the direction and success of the game.
Team Lead
What will you do?Design, implement, and maintain frontend-related features in the game client using the Gameface framework, covering various levels of architectural, interface, and animation complexity
Support and maintain solutions developed in the proprietary language
Refactor existing code to keep it simple and maintainable, write documentation and tests
Work on R&D activities, contribute to the overall development culture
Work closely with game and product designers and QA engineers, communicate with other teams and departments
3+ years of experience User Interfaces or Web Frontend development
- Deep understanding of vanilla JavaScript
Proficiency with TypeScript, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with React
Knowledge of markup-based languages (like HTML) and experience with modern practices
Experience in Figma
Experience with version control systems
Intermediate English (B2) or higher
Passion for gaming and interactive digital experiences
Work experience in game development
Experience with Coherent Labs Gameface or any GameDev UI framework
Experience with Python
Experience working with complex animations
During the probation period: onsite
After the probation period: onsite or hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
