What We Need:We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Game Designer to join our dynamic team here at Dynamite Games. As a Game Designer, you will collaborate closely with our design, audio, and development teams to assist in the creation and refinement of our games. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and excellent documentation skills to ensure ideas are clearly communicated and implemented effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and development of comprehensive Game Design Documents (GDDs).
- Write and refine game rules and mechanics to ensure clarity and user engagement.
- Collaborate with the Game Audio Designer to synchronize sound elements with game design.
- Work alongside senior designers and developers to create exciting and innovative slot game concepts.
- Conduct playtests, gather feedback, and suggest design improvements.
- Ensure high standards of documentation are maintained throughout the design process, ensuring clear and concise communication across teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging design practices to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
- 3+ year(s) of experience in game design or related field (internships and personal projects considered).
- Good understanding of game mechanics and game math knowledge.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail in creating clear and structured documents.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software) and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of game audio design and its role in player engagement.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A passion for gaming and a strong desire to grow within the industry.
