We are looking to expand the Hero Team, and we’re in search of a Game Designer. Our project is a new game in the World of Tanks franchise, taking place in an alternative Cold War setting with vehicles and agents. Originating in the vehicle shooter genre, the game has hero shooter elements, and an extensive progression system to allow players to customize and personalize their vehicles and agents to their liking. In this position you will create new content, including vehicles, agents, and their gameplay customizations, as well as support the core gameplay features of the game to ensure the best possible player experience.

What will you do?- Design new vehicles and agents in line with the established creative direction
- Work hands-on in the editor to prototype and develop new features and mechanics
- Design customization and progression for new and existing content
- Push the boundaries of the vehicle shooter genre by pitching new agent, vehicles, and mechanics
- Collaborate with artists and engineers to ensure the design vision is represented during production
- Work with other designers to ensure the best possible quality for existing and future content in line with the game vision
- Create and maintain concise design documentation
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a game designer
- At least one shipped title
- A strong understanding of game design fundamentals
- Responsibility and the ability to carry a feature from conception to release
- Critical thinking, and the ability to formulate feedback effectively
- A bachelor’s degree in game design
- Experience working on a new IP
- Experience with vehicle and/or hero shooters
- Scripting skills (C#, LUA, etc.)
Hybrid (4 days from the office).
