What We Need:
Our Novato, CA headquarters is seeking to add a full-time Game Analyst to work with the NBA 2K development team! Help us bring the game over the finish line and then continue as a meaningful part of the process throughout the life cycle of the product, with regular opportunities for feedback, insight, and tuning/balancing.
What You Will Do:
- Offer regular feedback and suggestions on MyTEAM features, designs, and content
- Regular testing of various features and mechanics throughout the MyTEAM mode
- Identify defects and playability issues and report them in a clear and concise manner
- Follow, maintain, and build test plans to guide in coverage and planning
- Reproduce issues and test fixes for engineers and producers
- Learn, grow, and evolve with the other members of the team as we strive to make a fun and unique NBA 2K experience each year
- Help monitor social media and various websites to keep a pulse on the MyTEAM community’s opinion and feedback of the mode
Who Will Be A Great Fit:
- Technically proficient with PCs and gaming consoles
- Digital literacy, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Workspace and database software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to prioritize and schedule demands in an often-fluid environment
- Able to take initiative and be proactive rather than reactive, as well as think and adjust quickly on a regular basis
- Not afraid to speak your mind and willing to share your opinions and ideas, including backing them up as needed
- An NBA fan who is enjoys the sport, the players, and the history
- Familiarity with MyTEAM and the MyTEAM community
- Passionate about video games (not just ours!)
- Previous game development or testing experience is a plus, but not required
The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $60,200 and $84,240 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
