Role and Responsibilities
As a General Affairs Coordinator / Receptionist you will be part of the General Affairs Team (4 p.) which is responsible for all General Affairs activities of Samsung Electronics Europe Logistics B.V. (SELS) based in Delft. SELS is the Central European logistics organization of Samsung Electronics which functions as a logistics and financial control tower within SEC Europe, with a focused role in logistics & supply chain strategy, innovation and monitoring. SELS has approximately 120+ employees divided over various department and locations within the Netherlands (Delft, Breda and Tilburg).
Your primary role will be to assist the GA Team with the day-to-day operations related to for e.g. the building, office assets, catering and cleaning. Next to the GA related activities, you will partly work as receptionist at the front desk to welcome and help visitors or employees that enter the building.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Facility:
- Coordinate and register maintenance requirements for the building;
- Coordinator building maintenance (or retain a contractor to do the work) and oversee both cleaning and maintenance services;
Administration:
- Assist in budget planning and expense management for general affairs activities;
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers;
- Coordinate and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory;
- Assist in organizing company events and meetings;
Front office:
- First point of contact for employees, visitors and external parties;
- Welcoming, announcing and registering visitors;
- Preparing and handing out badges to new employees;
- Placing various orders (business cards/office supplies/cakes/flowers);
- Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls, mail and packages;
- Booking of both domestic and international couriers;
- Handle travel arrangements and accommodation for employees and expats;
- Processing catering requests and company events;
Skills and Qualifications
Who we are looking for:
Our ideal candidate would fit the following profile:
Hard skills:
- MBO/HBO degree in Facility Management or other related study;
- At least 2 years working experience in a similar role;
- Experience in international or Asian environment is a plus;
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel;
Soft skills:
