JOB PURPOSE
Based on the activities assigned by his/her line manager, the technical sales representative is responsible for developing and promoting sales in his/her sector (customer portfolio, business volume, etc.).
He/she contributes to the collection of receivables in his/her sector.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES - Develop customer loyalty and sales in the area (prospecting, customer visits, promotion of offers, portfolio management, participation in events, etc.) - Build, negotiate and monitor commercial and technical offers, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (quotations, costings, bids, etc.) in response to calls for tender and customer requests - Contribute to the resolution of customer disputes and the collection of accounts receivable, in collaboration with internal stakeholders - Analyze the market and monitor the competition to identify new opportunities (markets, customers, technologies, etc.) - Update customer data in business tools (contacts, e-mail addresses, customer fleets, opportunities, visit reports, etc.) and competitor data - Monitor specifiers in your sector (equipment dealers) - Enter opportunities and actions (sales proposals, visit reports, etc.) into business tools RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE FOR ACTION - Ensure sales development in your sector - Guarantees the follow-up and achievement of sales objectives for his/her sector - Guarantees the quality of data entered into business tools - Know and apply internal and external compliance rules and procedures PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE DIPLOMA(S) AND/OR EXPERIENCE(S) 2 to 3 years' higher education in a commercial field and/or significant experience preferred SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE(S) Technical skill(s) - General commercial knowledge (sales, negotiation, customer relations, etc.) - Professional technical knowledge (mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics, topography, etc.) - General knowledge of products (ranges, functionalities, etc.) - General knowledge of IT tools and information systems - Advanced elementary level in English (A2) Behavioral skill(s) - Good interpersonal skills - Active listening - Thoroughness - Analytical skills - Synthesis skills - Adaptability - Responsiveness

Skills Required

  • 2-3 years higher education in a commercial field and/or significant experience
