Job Description
An opportunity for detail-oriented and analytical Functional Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and support the delivery of effective, scalable solutions that drives business value.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit, review, and validate business requirements.
- Perform impact assessments and analyze the "to-be" business and operational processes based on agreed requirements.
- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor and manage risks / issues related to requirements and scope creep.
- Perform impact assessments and estimations for project change requests.
Functional Design & Solution Alignment
- Transition requirements to System Analysts, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Maintain traceability of functional specification to business requirements.
Testing
- Review test plan and functional test scope prepared by testing team.
- Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritisation, tracking and resolution.
Experience and Skills
- Over 15 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong track record in delivering finance-related projects.
- Proficient in data management and financial systems.
- Knowledgeable in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Skilled in MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting.
- Experienced in change management and project management fundamentals.
- Strong team player with leadership skills, able to drive collaboration and resolve complex issues.
- Passionate, diligent, and resilient, with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Confident presenter, able to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
