Role Summary:

As a Funds Onboarding Specialist at Apex, you will play a key role in delivering successful fund launches and onboarding projects for a diverse global client base. In this client-focused position, you will manage the end-to-end onboarding journey for new clients and fund implementations, working closely with teams across Ireland, Spain, India, Guernsey, and other international locations. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you will coordinate onboarding activities, ensure data and system requirements are completed accurately and on time, and support clients through every stage of the process. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving, building strong relationships, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where they can make a direct impact on both client experience and business growth.
Key responsibilities:

  • Execute the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, as well as new fund launches and projects for existing clients.

  • Perform onboarding activities, including data collection, validation, system setup, and configuration.

  • Ensure onboarding requirements are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

  • Identify and directly resolve issues during onboarding, escalating where necessary.

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g. Product, Technology, Operations) to ensure successful implementation.

  • Maintain and continuously improve onboarding documentation, processes, and checklists.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout onboarding and subsequent launches.

  • Guide clients through onboarding requirements and ensure timely provision of required data and documentation.

  • Support clients and partners in resolving onboarding, technical, or process-related queries.

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to support additional fund launches and related projects over time.

Experience & skills required:

  • Bachelors or Masters in commerce, MBA Finance, CA/CMA/CFA or similar.

  • Relevant experience of Investment Operations / Risk Management.

  • Good understanding of Fund Compliance, Regulatory Reporting or Investment Risk.

  • Basic understanding of various asset classes – F&O, Fwds, OTCs, Swaps, Structured products.

  • Desirable experience with Bloomberg and/or other market data platforms.

  • Desirable previous exposure to Client Service roles.

  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Dedication to work as team and deliver timely results.

  • Candidates should be flexible to work in shifts if required.

  • A positive and responsible work ethic.

  • Fluent in English and any other additional languages is a plus.
