What you'll do

As a Funds Financing Manager, you’ll help shape and deliver structured credit facilities that align with business strategy, market conditions and customer needs, while supporting strong risk management and stewardship. You’ll also contribute to the analysis of potential transactions, including assessment of structural risk and return.
We’ll expect you to demonstrate sound economic understanding and judgement in support of credit decisions and risk appetite alignment. You’ll support product expertise to client-facing teams, including transaction shaping, customer engagement, and internal approvals

In addition to this, you'll be:

  • Maintaining accurate and complete transactional documentation to evidence appropriate structuring processes
  • Analysing financial information and structural features to support the delivery of customer requirements
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to shape transactions, contribute to customer negotiations, and support due diligence, documentation, and internal approvals
  • Assisting in supporting performance of structured transactions post-execution, including annual reviews, amendments, and waivers where appropriate
  • Ensuring excellent customer experience through collaboration with service providers and product specialists
The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with experience of supporting structured financing activity, with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the bank. You’ll have attained, or be committed to achieving relevant professional qualifications, including Lending Skills accreditation, within 12 months of your start date.

You'll also have:

  • Experience in providing effective and proactive support to the relevant team to deliver business outcomes
  • Knowledge of structuring, credit risk assessment, monitoring and controls knowledge in institutional banking products and funding solutions
  • The ability to undertake detailed quantitative, analytical and modelling for existing and target customers
  • Knowledge of financing and risk management trends in the relevant business target markets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
