About the Role
Caribou is seeking a Funding Specialist to join a high-energy, solutions-oriented department; where you will work with your team and Funding Manager to create seamless customer experiences while working with our Sales, Titling, Customer Care, and Sales Admin teams to carry loans through the refinance process.
In this role, you will…
- Review and validate loan documents for adherence to lending partner standards in line with set procedures & timelines.
- Generate and verify assigned loan files once signed, to ensure proper completion.
- Aggregate all necessary loan documentation, and submit to the lender for final review.
- Define and identify necessary stipulations so customer-facing departments can guide borrowers through the stipulation collection process.
- Be empowered to achieve all daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals and objectives as set by leadership.
- Contribute to leadership’s interactions with lending partners to optimize their programs, improve processes & increase efficiency.
This role can be based out of our Caribou offices in Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ, or remote/hybrid within the greater Denver, Phoenix, or Austin, TX areas.
You have:
- 2+ years of loan processing or funding experience
- Strong attention to detail, & are exceptionally organized; able to adapt to changing requirements with ease
- Discipline, & see yourself as a hands-on, self-motivated person who takes ownership of assigned tasks, seeing them to completion
- Strong communication skills, necessary to provide feedback to improve the customer and lender experience positively and constructively.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to flourish in a team environment
- High computer literacy skills, and the capacity to adapt to multiple software programs, including Google Workspace, Slack, & others,
