T-Rex Solutions is looking to select a Functional Tester to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) eCM program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.
- Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives.
- Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
- Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field from an accredited college or university required with three (3) or more years of related experience. An additional four (4) years of related experience may substitute for degree
- US citizenship or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3+ years, and be Federal Tax compliant required
- Active IRS MBI Clearance
- Testing Process and Quality Improvement
- Agile Testing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with client stakeholders at all organizational and technical levels.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal and collaboration skills to achieve project goals.
- Experience with Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
